This is the default option for Ethernet, VE and Loopback interfaces. The non-broadcast option configures the network type as a non-broadcast connection. This allows you to configure the interface to send OSPF traffic to its neighbor as unicast packets rather than multicast packets. set interfaces loopback lo address 2.2.2.2/32 set protocols ospf area 0 network 192.168.0.0/24 set protocols ospf log-adjacency-changes set protocols ospf parameters router-id 2.2.2.2 set protocols ospf redistribute connected metric-type 2 set protocols ospf redistribute connected route-map CONNECT What we expect to happen in a totally not-so-stubby-area is that we WILL NOT be getting all the summary LSAs, just a default route. However we will also redistribute networks with type 7 LSAs into OSPF. These type 7 LSAs DO cross area border routers. That means in Area 1 and 0 we expect to see a type 7 LSA for the redistributed network into OSPF.

This article describes how to enable OSPF and configure an OSPF network. For information on configuring OSPF filter policies, refer to KB16617 - SRX Getting Started - Configure Routing Policy to export Local, Static and Direct routes for OSPF.
